Bored Inc

It is so hard not to love cute!!! I want it all! They have amazing wall stickers (they call them decorama) to satisfy every girls needs and even some of you more adventurous boys. I want the Nadia!!!! Pink and would be perfect for our new Gloom Office!!!! Brian is masculine enough to keep a pink theme for the website so why don't we keep it for the office :) They also have cute bags, belts and amazing coin purses and that wallet speaks for itself! Imagine pulling a hot dog out of your purse. They jewelry ranges from cute and girly to dark and gloomy. This one is definitely worth a look!

Elizaveta

Sorry for staying away for so long. I hope this extremely bold fashion statement starts to make up for it a little. Something I can guarantee will not be worn by any of the other girls (or boys) next time you are out on the town. These accessories are sure to get you noticed. They are bound to start interesting conversations and you will be the shining star of the party. You would not want to be caught somewhere with rollers or gum in your hair but what about around your neck. Relive your childhood memories of My Little Pony and Barbie. Plenty more to see at her Etsy shop.

Shopping Time!

There are a lot of independent shops that sell some interesting things. With the Holidays coming up I thought it would be a good time to share a list. These are places you can buy something Kawaii, Vintage, 80's, independently designed... Jessica Iris Panda shared a couple of her favorite sites with me and I added a few to her list. Let me know of any other good sites and I could add them to the list or you could just comment the post! I know I am forgetting so many!

Sublime Stitching

Here is a find for all you D.I.Y.'ers out there. Embroidery patterns and kits for you and me. You remember your grandmother embroidering pillow cases with flowers? Well here are some patterns that would be awesome on that boring white shirt in the back of your closet or refresh that tote bag with something new. There are all sorts of patterns ranging from unicorns to tattoos and of course for those traditionalists or as an extra accent to your skull or pin-up girl the flowers.

Here are some cute clothes with personality. You can get a whole outfit down to the leg warmers or something to dress up your existing wardrobe. I really like the patches to renew that hoody or bag you have been lugging around and can't bear to depart with. I particularly like the skull hair clip and the girly hoody with bear ears. Its hard to resist all those skulls and hearts and bunnies! There is even a skull tee for the guys in the Misc section.

Jumble Bugs

A while back I met a woman at a craft fair who was hand sewing some awesome bugs. She was selling stickers and postcards with the pictures of them back them. They where so labor intensive and one of a kind and she could not part with them. Now you can own one of these amazing bugs for yourself. Currently there are two styles available for purchase, the Hula Girl who is perfect down to the coconut bra and the irresistible Punk bug with a spiky red mohawk. There are more being released over the next year. Which one fits your personality? I have an eye on that pirate!

The Black Apple

An emotional world of little girls. That is the Black Apple's work. Her wide eyed, round faced characters each have their own sad, mischievous expression. She has a parade of animals making guest appearances in many pieces as well as a cute assortment of hedgehog paintings. Something so cute can't be all good.

The Black apple paints her world on canvas and wood and sews armies of little sweeties that sell out almost immediately on days she updates the shop. There are plenty of prints, postcards and pins to go around but those elusive originals and dolls are almost impossible to come by. If you want an original Black Apple (Emily Martin) stop by her blog and find out what she will be selling and when and be ready to pounce on your choice before someone else does.
